Hewlett-Packard recently announced the 2007 recipients of its national Microenterprise Development Program. The program seeks to advance the use of technology in microenterprise development programs in order to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of microenterprises in underserved communities. In addition to a cash award and technology, recipients also will attend the national microenterprise conference in Anaheim CA, in May 2008.
Forty recipients nationally were announced. The three Oregon recipients are:
Chemeketa Small Business Development Center (Salem),
Lane MicroBusiness (Eugene) ,
ONABEN (Tigard)
